Compensation :

Wage : $18-21 per hour

Essential Job Functions :

  • Administer medications within the scope of your license and provide daily care as directed.
  • Perform personal care activities including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Assist with household services essential to health care at home, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Encourage residents to engage in leisure activities and socialize with peers.
  • Observe and document the health and emotional condition of each resident, reporting changes promptly.
  • Respond courteously to resident requests and emergency situations.
  • Promote safety by following infection control practices and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transportation for appointments and activities.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.
  • Tactful communication with residents, families, and staff.
  • Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant or a licensed Medication Assistant in accordance with state laws.
  • Preferred : 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facilities.
