Seeking an experienced

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a

night shift assignment

at University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center.

This is a

winter contract (must extend into January 2026) with a start date of

November 3, 2025 .

18-week contract

~ Every other weekend required

~ One major holiday off may be requested

~ Experience :

Minimum 2 years L&D RN experience

(no first-time travelers)

Active

MD or Compact RN License

(required at submission)

Charting System : Epic (preferred)

Labor and Delivery Management : Assist with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, circulate for C-section, manage hemorrhage / shock recovery

Postpartum Care : Cesarean and vaginal delivery recovery

IV Therapy : Blood product administration, central / PICC line care, and IV management

Fetal Monitoring : Proficiency in

External Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and antepartum triage

Experience with

Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, and Pitocin

References :

2 required (1 supervisor / manager + 1 charge RN)

Local Rule : Must live 50+ miles

from facility
