The Corporate Quality Manager will be a strategic partner to the executive team while providing hands-on leadership across operations.
Job Description
- Participate in internal audits and closing meetings, communicate identified nonconformities, and maintain complete and accurate audit documentation. Review and update Corrective Action Request (CAR) audits, track results, and report findings. Train and mentor new and experienced auditors to ensure consistent compliance and continuous improvement.
- Lead verification, effectiveness reviews, and sustainability activities within the CAR process. Facilitate CARs and guide teams through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
- Serve as Lead Auditor for internal and supplier audits, supporting external audits and customer witness activities by providing documentation, ensuring compliance, and achieving successful outcomes.
- Represent the company in communications with customers and third-party auditors on specifications, manufacturing capabilities, and quality issues. Deliver training to personnel on interpreting specifications, drawings, and procedures related to manufacturing, testing, and inspection.
- Prepare and manage customer-facing deviations and corrective actions as needed. Lead and support structured problem-solving initiatives to identify root causes and implement durable corrective solutions
- Partner with the Chief Inspector to advance metrology systems, including CMM, laser, and Romer technologies. Provide training in standard measurement tools and support final inspection teams in proper interpretation and use of inspection equipment. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 3D inspection technologies and supplier partnerships.
- Develop and maintain enterprise-wide quality metrics to enhance collaboration and track performance. Analyze data to identify and eliminate waste, improving efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality outcomes. Lead or participate in Lean and 6S initiatives to drive operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Supply Chain teams to develop and standardize inspection plans. Support the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming materials and promote consistent quality performance across the supplier network.
- Oversee calibration and measurement system validation activities to ensure compliance and accuracy. Manage calibration schedules, review certifications, and assess the impact of uncalibrated equipment. Lead in-house calibration processes and train gage owners on proper recordkeeping and equipment care.
- Foster a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to and reinforcing safety policies. Provide feedback to enhance workplace safety and work collaboratively across teams to sustain a culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5+ years of quality manufacturing experience
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Understanding of ISO 9001
- AS9100 experience is preferred
- Experience leading internal and external audits
- Experience with metrology and machining
- Experience within a job shop environment
