Job Description
We are seeking experienced Ironworkers and Welders to join our team for structural steel erection work in the Dallas, TX area. This role involves working at heights, performing precise installations, and assisting with the layout, lifting, welding, and placement of structural steel components. Ideal candidates will have strong ironworking skills, safe work practices, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a crew on active construction projects. You will be responsible for assembling, bolting, and welding steel structures while maintaining strict adherence to site safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities
- Set up hoisting equipment, rigging, and lifting devices for structural steel members
- Fasten steel components to hoist cables using chains, cables, or ropes
- Signal crane or equipment operators to lift and position steel safely
- Use tag lines to guide steel members into correct placement
- Align and secure structural members using turnbuckles, crowbars, jacks, and hand tools
- Align bolt holes and install temporary bolts or perform welds to secure members
- Verify vertical and horizontal alignment using plumb bobs, levels, and measuring tools
- Perform cutting, torching, and welding of steel members using oxyacetylene and welding equipment
- Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and job-related equipment
- Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials during installation
- Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of tools / equipment
- Follow all job site safety rules and wear required PPE at all times
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors
