Job Description & Requirements Specialty : MRI Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 10 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : MRI Technician Location : Columbia, SC Schedule / Job Type : Full-time, Days, Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 30 PM) Key Responsibilities : Perform MRI scans on pediatric and adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings Ensure high-quality imaging using GE and Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI machines Provide specialized pediatric imaging, including neonates, stroke, and trauma cases Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process Adhere to all safety protocols and equipment guidelines Required Qualifications : Certified Radiologic Technologist through ARRT (not ARMRIT) Previous MRI experience, specifically with pediatric populations Proficiency with GE and Siemens MRI equipment Ability to work 12-hour shifts on weekends Strong patient-care skills and attention to detail Preferred Experience / Skills : Experience working in a pediatric hospital environment Prior experience with neonate, stroke, and trauma MRI scans Comfort working with a diverse patient age range, including neonates to adults About iDEAL Hire iDeal Travel Staffing is dedicated to working with the best of the best in travel healthcare.
