Job description

Position Title : Pricing Manager

Location : Waipahu, Hawaii

Clearance Requirements : None

Position Status : Contract (60-90 days)

Pay Rate : $38 - $47 per hour

Position Description :

We are seeking a Pricing Manager to join our finance team on a temporary assignment covering a paternity leave. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong financial and analytical skills who thrives in fast-paced environments. The Pricing Manager will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing pricing strategies for a diverse portfolio of wine and beer SKUs-ensuring profitability, compliance, and operational efficiency across the supply chain.

You'll collaborate closely with finance and supply chain teams to build dynamic pricing models, conduct cost and margin analysis, and support data-driven decision-making that directly impacts business performance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, update, and maintain pricing grids for beverage SKUs based on cost inputs, taxes, and target margins.
  • Perform financial analysis including gross profit (GP), cost of goods sold (COGS), and taxation impact assessments.
  • Analyze supply chain cost components such as warehouse fees, freight, and product costs to identify margin opportunities.
  • Partner with finance managers, analysts, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Generate reports and data insights to support pricing decisions, financial forecasting, and executive reviews.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy and compliance across systems and documentation.
  • Utilize Excel (advanced formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data modeling) to manage large datasets efficiently.
  • Support ongoing pricing governance and process improvements across finance and supply chain operations.

Required Skills / Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, or supply chain cost management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and reporting abilities with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in beverage, alcohol distribution, CPG, or retail pricing environments.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory costing.
  • Understanding of supply chain taxation, pricing compliance, and financial controls.
