TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med / Surg / Tele RN in Simpsonville, South Carolina, 29681!

$1,970 per week

About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Nursing

Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • New travelers must have 3 years of nursing experience.
  • 1 year of experience with Epic EMR is required.

License :

  • Active RN license required.

    • Certifications :

  • Active ACLS certification.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Active NIHSS certification.

    • Must-Have :

  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias experience.
  • Telemetry experience.

    • Description :

  • Candidates must have active AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Candidates must have an active, unrestricted RN license.
  • The role requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year of Epic experience required.
  • New travelers must have 3 years of nursing experience.
  • All agency staff must be willing to float to other units as requested due to census concerns.
  • Floating will only be to units where competencies have been previously demonstrated and documented.
  • The patient ratio during nights is typically 6 : 1.
  • The daily census is approximately 20 patients.
  • Staff will be responsible for caring for adult and geriatric patients.
  • Interdisciplinary support includes various healthcare services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
  • Candidates should possess orthopedic and bariatric experience in a telemetry unit.
  • Additional experience in trauma care is preferred.
  • This position may involve special equipment relevant to patient care in the unit.
  • Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules is required before starting the contract.
  • Modules will be billable, up to a certain limit, and must be completed annually.
