Job Title : Travel Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room Location : Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, Somerset, KY Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM Assignment Type : Travel Contract Duration : 13 Weeks

Position Overview : Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the Operating Room team on a travel contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of surgical procedures and demonstrate strong collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures
  • Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are sterilized and available
  • Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining sterile field
  • Monitor patient safety and support infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies

    • Qualifications :

  • Active CST certification
  • Minimum of 1 year recent OR experience preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
