Senior Cloud DBA-ETL-ELT Data Pipeline Engineer

Base Pay Range

$68.00 / hr - $76.00 / hr

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud-native databases and services (RDS Oracle, Aurora, Postgres, Snowflake)
• Optimize query execution, compute scaling, and storage performance
• Define snapshot, PITR, and cross-region replication policies
• Implement encryption, access controls, masking, and auditing for FERPA / PII compliance
• Oversee schema migrations, data pipelines, and versioned deployments
• Migrate legacy SSIS ETL to a SQL-based solution using Apache Airflow for scheduling and dependencies
• Re-engineer solution approach, develop code packages, fix bugs, test, and manage GitHub repository
• Design and implement Apache Airflow scheduling and dependency framework
• Tune performance and benchmark against on-prem solution
• Use Jira for task tracking and GitHub for code management, reviews, and pull requests

Compensation

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
