We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and experienced Manufacturing Design / Foundry Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading manufacturing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, equipment, and plants. The candidate will also have the opportunity to work on mold design, fixture design and other related areas.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods.
• Develop and implement process improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with design engineering and other cross-functional teams to improve product design for manufacturability.
• Develop and implement mold designs, fixture designs, and other related manufacturing tools.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished product and process capabilities, and establishing standards.
• Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
