Position Overview

The company is looking for an experienced Concrete Estimator with a background in heavy civil constructionparticularly water and wastewater treatment facilities (WTP / WWTP). This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, strategic professional ready to contribute to high-impact public and private projects.

Responsibilities

Project Estimating

Review blueprints, specifications, geotechnical reports, and addenda
Perform accurate takeoffs for concrete, rebar, formwork, embeds, and accessories
Prepare detailed cost estimates across all phases of concrete work
Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

Bid Management

Lead the full bid process from takeoff through final proposal submission

Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits

Communicate with general contractors, engineers, and owners for clarification and coordination

Risk & Value Analysis

Identify scope gaps, risks, and opportunities for value engineering

Recommend cost-saving measures and schedule improvements

Team Collaboration

Work closely with project managers, field leaders, and operations teams

Support seamless project handoffs through thorough documentation and coordination
