Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with large hospital and Epic experience for a 13-week day shift assignment in Massachusetts.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in a large hospital operating room
  • Day shifts are 12 hours (6 : 30am-7 : 00pm)
  • Call required three times per month with varying call times, including 12-hour weekend call shifts
  • Patient care is provided in a high-volume surgical environment
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Must be able to participate in frequent on-call rotations including potential overnight and weekend shifts
  • Will join a high-performing surgical team in a large academic medical environment
  • Pass / fail testing may be required for Tele / ECG and medication competency (certain campuses)
  • Parking fees may apply if working at the Boston campus
  • First-time travelers are not specifically restricted from applying

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Previous operating room nursing experience required
  • Experience working in large hospital settings required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • COVID-19 vaccine and booster required, medical exemptions allowed
  • Flu vaccine required prior to start (during flu season)
  • Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Must not have been employed by this health system within the last 6 months
