Mortgage Account Specialist

Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is currently seeking applicants for a Mortgage Account Specialist . This position will be based out of the Hurstbourne office located at 1200 Forest Bridge Road, Louisville, KY 40223. Candidates must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet strict deadlines, and have clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Act as liaison between retail branch and mortgage division to verify current members in the credit union's core processing system (DNA) who are utilizing the extra credit promotion and have the eligible accounts
• Request exact amount of gift cards weekly from the retail branch to ensure all members receive gift card for closing
• Input all gift card information (card #, date sent, how gift card was received) in the mortgage operating system (Encompass) on a weekly basis
• Print out the gift card letters, stamp and mail the envelopes along with the gift cards every Friday to all members who successfully closed on their mortgage loan
• Track all change of circumstances (COC's) in Encompass for closing disclosures (CD's), and when due, send out all preliminary and COC CD's (estimated 150-160 / month)
• After 90 days from closing, follow up on final title policies and recorded mortgages and upload to Encompass eFolder once received
• Act as a notary for the mortgage division in Louisville
• Backup to Post-Closing and Closing job duties when necessary
• Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management
