Job descriptionNICU Level : III Expected Patients per Day : 2–4 Facility Average Deliveries per Month : ~160 (OB Hospitalists average ~25 / month) Case Mix : OB ED, unassigned deliveries Support : In-house Anesthesia and MFM on site Credentialing : ~60 days, expedited for clean files Shifts : 24-hour in-house (TBD) Availability : Minimum 4 shifts / month (up to 12 available) Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience and certifications) Housing and transportation needs covered. About The Position
Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced OB Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage in Santa Barbara, CA. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and full travel accommodations.
Description :
We are seeking OB Hospitalists with a minimum of 4 shifts per month availability (up to 12 shifts per month available). Coverage is ASAP and ongoing , with 24-hour in-house shifts (times TBD).
Providers must meet the following minimum requirements :
- 100 deliveries performed (not assisted) in the last 24 months
- 25 GYN cases in the last 12 months
- 5 major GYN surgeries performed in the last 12 months
- Board Certified preferred (will consider truly BE within 5 years of training)
- Active license and DEA required
- COVID vaccine required
