As a patrol unarmed officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a busy retail location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a vehicle to help provide a secure environment. What You'll Do
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriateRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughoutConduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential issuesMonitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help deter theft, vandalism, and / or suspicious activityDocument and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards according to company and site-specific proceduresAssist with directions and general information for visitors and employees within the retail environmentCollaborate with store management and / or law enforcement as required during incidents or emergenciesMaintain a visible presence throughout the location to help deter disruptive behavior and promote a welcoming environmentWhat We're Looking For
