Position Summary\nProvides direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.\nEssential Functions Additional Information\nPatient Populations Served : Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.\nProtected Health Information Accessed : Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.\nExposure : Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.\nPhysical Requirements : Frequent standing, walking, lifting / moving patients, and repetitive hand / arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.\nEducation : \nAssociate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.\nLicense / Certifications : \nCurrent RN license in state of practice;\nBCLS required;
