Job Title : Module Shop Supervisor - 1st Shift

Department : Powerplant Building #1

Position Type : Regular Full Time – 1stShift

Position Description :

The basic function is to oversee daily operations in the Module shop. Additional responsibilities include :

  • Ensure employees are productive and observing schedule
  • Relaying information and updates to employees
  • Tracking and maintaining engine build status
  • Informing management of any parts requirements that may cause delays in production processes.
  • Communicating with the Quality Control Department through the inspection process so as to avoid delays.
  • Expediting any project on the production floor where necessary.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.

Required Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the disassembly and build of engine modules.
  • At minimum, Powerplant License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hold a valid US driver’s license
  • Knowledgeable in computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Available for flexible hours and weekends
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must have good customer service skills
  • Knowledgeable of common warehouse practices a plus

    • Language Skills :

  • Must have the ability to read, write and understand spoken English.
  • Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Must have the ability to understand verbal and written instructions

    • Physical Demands :

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and / or move more than 50 pounds.

    • Work Environment :

  • Work is performed primarily in a shop environment and maintenance setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
