Ability to perform the majority of patient care functions needed in the acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Description :
The Respiratory Therapist will administer positive pressure and aerosol therapy to patients.
They will institute and monitor oxygen therapy on patients.
The therapist will assist physicians in instituting and maintaining continuous ventilation.
They will administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation as needed.
The therapist will perform pulmonary function tests.
They will perform radial arterial punctures.
