Adapt for Life is looking for a Regional Director of Clinical for our 5-7 clinics located in the Indianapolis area The ideal candidate will reside within a 60–90 minute drive to the Indianapolis Metro area and must be willing to travel for onsite clinic visits at least 2-3 days per week and potentially for overnight stays.
The Regional Clinical Director serves as a leader of the company and provides administrative oversight and assistance to the clinic staff, ensuring the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of clinic operations. Provides oversight and management of all clinical functions and supports the growth of clinic operations. This is a Salary Exempt position.
Responsibilities / essential functions :
Clinical Services
- Responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive behavioral assessments and behavioral treatment programs for children, their families, and their community caregivers
- Manage coordination of case management activities
- Assist VPCO in providing regular training to clinical directors and BCBAs as needed
- Responsible for providing clinically and ethically appropriate supervision and training of Registered Behavior Technicians as needed / based on individual clinic needs
- Ability to travel independently to clients’ homes and other community locations
- Maintenance of the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Portal including updating continuing education and updating supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians
- Assist with Registered Behavior Technician competencies
- Demonstration of basic assessment abilities
- Compete clinical training with a mentor
- Proficient of Adapt for Life billing training competency
- Proficient Assessment skills including but not limited to VB-MAPP, AFLS, ABLLS-R, PEERS, Socially Savvy, etc.
- Completion of various continued education courses (CEUs)
- Completion of ongoing Adapt for Life courses as they arise
- Demonstrate ability to manage and coach clinicians with more challenging clients
- Mentor newly certified Board Certified Behavior Analysts
- Assist with personnel management
- Assist with good fit intakes
- Assist with management Registered Behavior Technician supervision reports
- Certified Organizational Behavior Management coursework
- Manage clinical and operations of the identified clinics if their assigned area
- Audit billable notes (51, 53, 55, 56) – however you want to state that
- Assist in maintenance of BHCOE accreditation
- Ability to travel to out of state conferences
- Complete treatment plan reviews for CD
- Manage utilization of BCBA and implementation of contingences
- Manage utilization of individual clinics
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of CDs
- Coordinate with Director / VP of operations to ensure timely growth of new clinics including hiring new BCBAs
- Coordination with Director / VPO to ensure timely growth of BCBA caseloads
- Provide additional clinical assistance to BCBAs and / CDs in the clinic
- Assist with tasks as directed by the VPCO
- Help ensure quality of ABA services implemented by RBTs and BCBAs
- Conduct CR program audits
- Assist with internal review process
- Attend and / or lead weekly CD meetings
- Visit all clinics on a quarterly basis
- Visit local clinics on a biweekly basis
- Any additional tasks requested of your supervisor.
Administrative
Timely completion all paperwork and phone contacts to caregivers, funding sources, outside agencies and schools (as appropriate) regarding treatment and development of treatment plans, goals, and objectivesTimely response to all internal and external audit requestsProfessional Conduct

Qualifications / Educational Requirements :
Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education / special education, or a related fieldBCBA / BCaBA Certification required and in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification BoardCurrent / ability to obtain Behavior Analyst Licensure if requiredDemonstrated competency in the current Behavior Analyst Certification Board Task ListDemonstrate flexibility to last minute changes / schedulesProficient in people management skillsAbility to work autonomouslyTask driven and goal orientedAbility to compromiseAbility to always maintain professionalism under any circumstancesExcellent time management and organizational skillsEffective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsPossess a Valid Driver’s licenseFive years Board Certified Behavior Analyst experience requiredProficient with Microsoft suiteClear background checkClear abuse registry checkPhysical Requirements :
