About The Position

🩺 Position Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist (MD / DO) for 24-hour call coverage starting October 2025 , with ongoing locum potential.

This role is 90% newborn care , with minimal pediatric and adolescent inpatient volume. Medical students may occasionally observe during newborn rounds, offering a collaborative and educational environment.

📍 On-site or within 30 minutes of the hospital is required during call shifts.

🕒 Shift(s) Description :

24-hour call shifts : 8 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 AM

Weekend Requirements : Yes

On-Call Response Time : Within 30 minutes

Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)

Active Ohio Medical License

Ohio DEA License

BLS & NRP Certifications

Newborn Experience

X-ray Interpretation & Circumcision

UVC / UAC Skills

Clean background required for emergency temp privileges
