Position : Digital and Radio Account Executive – Lafayette, LA. We are looking for passionate, motivated, goal-oriented individuals with high business acumen who want to WIN in a fast-paced, competitive sales environment. A digitally savvy candidate who can create integrated marketing campaigns for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to identify client business needs by understanding goals, objectives, processes and market trends to proactively develop customized marketing solutions.
- Deliver and develop effective, informed marketing solutions via multi-platform, integrated sales presentations that combine Cumulus broadcast, digital, and event tactics to drive results.
- Negotiate and close business to drive revenue and foster long-term client relationships across media and platforms.
- Develop product knowledge of Cumulus assets to stay current with industry advertising opportunities.
- Represent the full suite of products and services as marketing solutions, including station digital assets, internet-based marketing, social media, streaming, events and specialized programming.
- Manage time to optimize revenue opportunities, client interaction, and fulfillment of sales agreements; assist in developing creative messaging as needed.
- Prospect and maintain a full pipeline through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and other means.
- Follow station and corporate procedures for orders, billing issues, reporting, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate to represent the brand and help clients achieve success.
Qualifications
2+ years in media sales preferredBachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field preferredProficient in Microsoft Office, social platforms, and CRM toolsExcellent communication skillsPassion for developing new business relationships in outside salesExperience presenting to clients on sales opportunities and post-sale successesStrong lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospectsUnderstanding of sales metrics to maintain a steady sales funnelSelf-motivated and entrepreneurial spiritPositive, collaborative, high-energy attitudeFlexible, creative and curiousDigitally savvyWhat We Offer
