Interventional Radiology Locums Physician – Hawaii Join a group of physicians providing IR coverage to the Maui community. Open dates as early as December, and ongoing. Advanced scheduling available. Highlights Christmas Eve and Day shifts pay 1.5x Serve an underserved community in a warm, coastal setting Long-term locums potential; dates available into summer Low callback volume night and weekends Practice Setting 219-bed Level III trauma center Three-room Angio suite with IR, Cardiology, and Vascular capabilities Dedicated IR support staff and anesthesia team Weekday coverage 7a–5 : 30p with night / weekend call Schedule Holiday coverage still needed (Dec 22–26); orientation likely Dec 19 Additional dates available through June; expecting ongoing until perm recruitment is complete 24-hour inpatient call model (low night / weekend callback rate) Cases and Procedures Vascular and non-vascular IR : embolization, thrombolysis, angioplasty, stenting Inpatient consults, emergency interventions, and fistula procedures Requirements Board Certified in Interventional Radiology Hawaii license or active IMLC (Hawaii can be added in 1–2 days) Must have a clean background and second DEA for initial assignments BLS and ACLS required EPIC charting experience preferred Travel Accommodations Travel covered : airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage Fly into Kahului Airport (OGG); time zone difference and full-day travel considered Lodging includes night before and after assignment Ready to spend part of the winter in Maui?
