Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including both the business interior and the perimeter. Monitor for and report suspicious activity, helping to deter theft and / or unwanted behavior within the retail environment. Work collaboratively with store personnel and / or visitors to address security-related concerns as they arise. Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and / or routine activities as required by Allied Universal policies. Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and / or customers. Follow all Allied Universal procedures and client-specific protocols while on duty. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of security-related experience Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Maintain a Level III armed certification in Texas where required by state law. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
