  • Operate the equipment, which includes training on the process.
  • Disassemble and clean the units after production runs.
  • Handle 55 lbs bags and move drums up to 175 lbs with team assistance.
  • Monitor production by taking readings, overseeing temperature and mixing speed, and documenting time-stamped data.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in a GMP or food/pharmaceutical environment involving chemical mixing and SOP compliance.
  • 1+ years of experience in documenting production runs, including weights and temperature checks.
  • Proficiency in math, particularly in working with decimals for chemical additions and calculations.
  • High attention to detail, as verified through references.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Reliable work history and consistent attendance, as verified through references.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience as a compounder or operator is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols.
  • Ability to work in a production environment and comply with safety regulations.

Work Environment

Operators will work in a cleanroom setting, requiring facility-specific footwear and the use of provided uniforms, including lab coats, hairnets, and booties. The role involves exposure to hazardous chemicals, including narcotics and pharmaceutical compounds. Operators work in separate production suites to prevent cross-contamination, with suites spanning three stories and requiring stair climbing. Production suites must be power washed and sanitized after each campaign. Training occurs on the 1st shift for 3-4 months, after which operators transition to 3rd shifts. Shift differentials apply: 6% for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift.
