Sporting KC Facilities Services Lead
The Sporting KC Facilities Services Lead must ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to enhance the appearance and cleanliness of the building, providing associates, guests and clients with a presentable area.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and lead external or contracted cleaning crews hired by Sporting Kansas City, ensuring their responsibilities are completed in an efficient and effective manner.
- Make sure all routine, day-to-day cleaning tasks are completed assigned by Facility manager.
- Ensure that all areas of responsibility during Sporting Kansas City games have an exceptional appearance and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Attend to all radio calls pertaining to the designated areas of responsibility during Sporting Kansas City games.
- Provide assistance and schedule Facility Services Attendants for all sporting kc events.
- Facility services Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- He or she will also be a point of contact if something arises with the Manager.
- The Lead is a highly experienced individual who provides quality service to their guests.
- Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed in the department.
- Dealing with suppliers of cleaning materials, floor equipment, guest supplies etc.
- Ensuring guest's property and valuables are stored and kept safe.
- Overseeing Facility and contracted staff.
- Maintain budgets set by Facility manager and manage all related paperwork.
- Coordinating and assigning work to all facility services attendants, such as the assigned shift's Facility Services department, cleaning staff.
- Leading and training in the Facility Services department personnel or staff who are under them.
- Assigning tasks to team members, ensuring that they are completing their work correctly, and checking that all areas are clean and pristine at the end of each shift.
- Completing work orders 24 / 7 daily and customer requests in a timely manner.
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with other departments.
- Contributing to the inventory of cleaning supplies.

High School Diploma required, College Degree preferred.Prior experience in a related routine building services cleaning position, preferably in an environment working with fans / guests.Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and supplies.Experience with cleaning machinery and driving motorized carts required.Forklift Certification preferred.Spanish speaking abilities helpful.Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.
