Cardiology Pro Fee Coder

A company is looking for a Pro Fee Coder - Cardiology.

Key Responsibilities

Select and sequence ICD-10 and / or CPT / HCPCS codes for designated patient types

Review facility records to ensure accurate APC assignments and Evaluation and Management codes

Abstract clinical data and maintain patient and provider confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines

Required Qualifications

Active AHIMA or AAPC credential

Two years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience

Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and coding guidelines

Ability to code at a 95% quality threshold

Proficient in MS Office applications
