Neonatologist Opportunity in Beautiful Charleston, WV

We have an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our NICU team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Women and Children s Hospital in beautiful Charleston, WV. This facility features a Level-IV, 30-bed NICU with a vibrant community eager to support pediatric healthcare.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide 24 / 7 in-house coverage at a Level-IV, 30-bed NICU with an average daily census of 24.
• Manage approximately 3,000 annual births, with about 470 NICU and 1,226 newborn nursery admissions.
• Engage in attendance at deliveries and provide consultative services alongside pediatric sub-specialists from over 30 specialties.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, and providing clinical supervision for medical students and residents.
• Have the option to cover at a nearby Level-II NICU.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) working 12-hour shifts in the newborn nursery.
