Title : Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Location : Rio Rico, AZ

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Day Shift | 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 17 : 00)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients based on physician referral or direct access.

Supervise physical therapy assistants and technicians according to the PT plan of care.

Conduct evaluations and treatments for injured workers, including Work Hardening and Functional Capacity Evaluations.

Perform ergonomic evaluations, job analysis, and post-offer employment testing.

Utilize facility equipment and modalities effectively.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and communication with referring providers.

Handle scheduling, referrals, and patient communication as needed.

Ensure proper use of billing codes across various payer types.

Maintain professional conduct with patients, physicians, and all external stakeholders.

Participate in community events and support marketing / business development efforts when time allows.

Fulfill additional duties as needed for the clinic’s success.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Current, active Physical Therapy license in good standing (state-specific).

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Willingness to develop skills in occupational health-related services.

Competency in use of modalities and therapeutic exercise equipment.
