As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in creating a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and offering outstanding customer service with clear communication. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. What You'll Do :

Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)

Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as needed

Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and report any suspicious behavior or concerns.

Observe and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual activities to the appropriate personnel and / or authorities as required by site policies.

Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the healthcare location, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.

Communicate professionally and courteously with staff, patients, and visitors, providing information and assistance as necessary.

Support Allied Universal and client policies by documenting all incidents and activities according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
