As the BIM Program Lead, you will act as the key point of contact for all program-related projects, managing a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. You'll be instrumental in engaging with clients, establishing standard workflows, and ensuring all projects adhere to Data Center standards. Additionally, you'll focus on enhancing team performance, deliverable quality, and user expertise through the development of people, processes, technology, and tools.
Key Responsibilities :
- Proposals & Industry Knowledge : Provide insight and guidance on preliminary bidding and business development to determine necessary applications / tools for client and program initiatives.
- Stay informed on the latest technology and industry trends to optimize project workflows for client satisfaction.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives for the program.
- Draft and estimate proposals for new work within the program.
Staff Development & Training :
Effectively manage and delegate program work to Advanced Manufacturing staff with support from the Integrated Design Team Manager.Guide leads and coordinators to successfully implement client-specific workflows.Organize and oversee training sessions for staff involved in the program.Establish, manage, and implement standardized operating procedures to streamline engineering processes and workflows.Incorporate innovative methods to achieve cost reductions.Collaborate with the integrated design team manager to appropriately allocate staff workload across all projects.Display a proven history of successfully leading digital delivery teams.Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with Jacobs disciplines, project managers, leadership, and clients.Exhibit strong time management skills and prioritize work efficiently.Quickly mobilize and build project teams as needed.Design Execution :
Oversee design methodologies and drive continuous improvement throughout the project life cycle.Engage with relevant IT and Operations Subject Matter Experts to ensure the program has the necessary support for project technology.Authorize access to pertinent data and coordinate efforts with various departments, including COE technologies, project managers, outside design firms, and clients.Monitor project schedules to ensure compliance with level of development (LOD) requirements.Aggregate information across projects to create actionable insights.Design graphics and dashboards to relay information and correlate data for project teams.Oversee new product implementations from conception through production launch and process sign-off.Track each project’s progress, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.Client Engagement :
Develop and nurture client relationships to become a trusted advisor in the digital space.Regularly collaborate with client Program Leads to explore workflows and identify optimization opportunities.Keep abreast of market trends and continuously seek ways to enhance processes.A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Digital Delivery role is required.A technical, professional, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Architecture, Engineering, or Drafting is essential.Jacobs is committed to diversity and is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
