  • Responsibilities

  • Patient Care : Provide care for patients with a broad spectrum of infectious diseases.
  • Diagnosis and Treatment : Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and clinical expertise to diagnose infectious diseases. Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Consultation and Collaboration : Offer expert consultations to other healthcare professionals to assist in the management of complex or unusual infectious cases.
  • Infection Prevention & Control : Collaborate with hospital infection control teams to prevent, manage, and monitor hospital-acquired infections. Lead or assist in the development of institutional guidelines and protocols.
  • Quality Improvement : Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance : Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
