Koddi is seeking an Engineering Manager, Internal Tooling to lead a highly technical team focused on supporting our internal teams, especially Customer Success. In this role, you will operate in an 80 / 20 hands-on / management capacity, spending most of your time writing code, triaging issues, and building solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness across the business.

You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand bottlenecks, set the technical direction, and own delivery across internal platforms and tooling, including AI-powered solutions.

What You'll Do

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of support engineers, driving a collaborative, curious, and results-oriented culture.
• Spend approximately 80% of your time in the codebasewriting, reviewing, and delivering clean, maintainable, and scalable internal tools.
• Own internal tooling initiatives from idea to implementation, delivering AI-enhanced systems that support internal teams.
• Triage and resolve technical issues as a hands-on support leader, ensuring operational reliability across systems. Define and execute a technical roadmap focused on increasing productivity and automation within internal operations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and other stakeholders to identify pain points and deliver high-impact tools.
• Participate in and lead architecture discussions, contributing to software best practices and long-term platform scalability.
• Contribute to the hiring and scaling of the internal tooling team, helping to evolve the hiring process and grow technical talent.
