Patrol Officer Lateral Transfer

The City of Hamilton Police Department is recruiting for current certified law enforcement officers interested in the lateral transfer process. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will not be required to complete the National testing Network (NTN) test, or the initial pre-hire physical fitness exam. Eligibility requirements include at least two (2) years of full-time experience as a sworn law enforcement officer with a recognized law enforcement agency, current law enforcement officer status with a recognized law enforcement agency, and submission of any certifications earned to date.

The recruitment process for this position includes an oral board interview, background investigation, psychological evaluation, medical examination & drug screen.
