Underwriter Or Underwriting Specialist Large Property
Zurich North America is hiring an Underwriter or Underwriting Specialist Large Property to join our Large Property team in our New York office! While this role requires you to work out of our New York office, you will have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis. You will partner with your manager to set a flexible work schedule that supports you, our customers, and our brokers and agents. This role will require you to be visible in the marketplace to meet with our agents and brokers and be in the office / market three days per week, with one of those days being Monday. In this role you will handle new and renewal Property business. As a member of Zurich's Large Property Underwriting Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a book of Domestic and Global Property business. This is an exciting time to join the Large Property Team at Zurich! This role will require approximately 15% travel nationally. As a member of Zurich's Underwriting team, you will enjoy the opportunity to fully apply and hone your underwriting and marketing skills. Specifically, you will underwrite and analyze new and renewal Large Property business utilizing the Zurich Way of Underwriting Framework within delegated authority levels on assignments of higher technical complexity ensuring a high-level service to customers. This role will be filled at either an Underwriter or Underwriting Specialist. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant's experience and skillset relative to the qualifications listed for this position. At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. In compliance with local laws, Zurich commits to providing a fair and reasonable compensation range for each role. The combined salary range for this position is $73,400.00 - $152,200.00. The proposed salary range for the Underwriter is $73,400.00 - $120,300.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. The proposed salary range for the Underwriting Specialist is $92,900.00 - $152,200.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
