Department / Unit Summary

The Med / Surg Unit at Bluegrass Community Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for providing specialized care to acute care and swing bed patients.

This 16-bed unit operates within a critical access hospital setting, ensuring patients receive optimal medical attention and support.

How you'll contribute

You'll make an impact by assessing the patient's condition and nursing care needs to create a specialized plan of care.

You will collaborate with physicians and provide patients and / or family with instruction and education relevant to conditions.

You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
