Requirement Notes : Board certified (or Board eligible) by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Must have completed vascular neurology fellowship.

Job Information

Typical Day : Inpatient rounding (up to 20 patients), inpatient consults, ED consults, respond to stroke codes. Round on stroke patients on weekends.

Hospitalists admit patients, locum vascular neurologist is a consultant and will place some orders.

Typical Cases : inpatient stroke patients and patients with stroke complications

Patient Mix : 100% Adult

AVG Admissions per Day : 1-3

AVG New Patients per Day : 5

AVG Consults per Day : 2

Provider will work solo No APP coverage available

Other Specialties Onsite : Interventional neurology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, hospitalists, intensivists, neuro-intensivists, pulmonary medicine.
