Work Days : Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Key Requirements & Experience :

Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience is required (no first-timers or new graduates).

Travel Experience : Required.

Licensure : Tennessee License is REQUIRED (pending license is NOT accepted).

Certifications (One of the following is required) : ASCP-MLT, ASCP-MLS, AMT-MLT, or AMT-MLS.

Charting System : Experience with Cerner is REQUIRED.

Core Skills : Strong experience in Hematology and Chemistry is REQUIRED.

Instrumentation Experience (REQUIRED) : Chemistry : Roche Cobas instrumentation.

Hematology : Sysmex XM Series instrumentation.

Blood Bank Experience (MUST HAVE) : Experience with type and screens, antibody ID, antigen typing, DAT, cord blood, thorough tube and gel knowledge, emergency release, MTP, and working independently.

Additional Job Details :

Float Required : Yes. Will alternate departments (Hematology, Chemistry, etc.).

Patient Age Groups : Not specified.

Daily Census : 180 (for the Unit).

Vaccine Requirements : COVID-19 Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions Only).

Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed).

Duties Note : TECH WILL WORK IN 2-3 DEPARTMENTS. NO PHLEBOTOMY DUTIES.
