Night Shift Caregiver

Lux Senior Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented NOC Shift Caregiver to join our six-bed residential care home. This position is ideal for someone who is calm, attentive, and capable of maintaining a structured and peaceful overnight environment.

Position Overview:

The NOC caregiver is responsible for ensuring resident safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night while maintaining household cleanliness and readiness for the morning shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure safety and comfort
• Assist with overnight care needs, including toileting and repositioning
• Administer medications as directed (must be comfortable with medication management or willing to obtain Med Tech certification)
• Accurately document care and any changes in resident condition
• Prepare light breakfast or assist with early meal prep as needed
• Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the home (kitchen, common areas, laundry, etc.)
• Ensure the home is organized and prepared for the morning shift transition

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience required (RCFE experience preferred)
• Comfortable administering medications OR willing to become Med Tech certified
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours
