The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) is a skilled healthcare professional responsible for assessing patient / family health needs and developing effective nursing care plans.

This RN provides safe and high-quality care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process to meet their unique needs.

The RN takes a leadership role in supervising nursing personnel and administering specialized care according to unit-specific protocols and ordered treatments.

">

This position requires the RN to work with patients of all ages, demonstrating an understanding of functional / developmental age and delivering care that meets the highest standards.

">

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, including written and verbal abilities, and be proficient in English with bilingual or multilingual skills a plus.

">

Minimum two years of nursing practice experience, including clinical and leadership roles, is required; additional years of experience may be needed for specialty areas.

">

A current Louisiana RN License, BLS / ACLS De-Escalation Certification, and knowledge of TJC standards are also necessary.
