As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to support a secure environment, and interact with individuals to provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related concerns, or hazards within the location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence while interacting professionally with staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Support the enforcement of access control procedures and visitor management protocols as directed by site policies.
  • Document and communicate all security-related incidents and / or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation of security-related drills and emergency preparedness activities as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
