Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant responsible for performing duties under the direction of a physician to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Minimum requirements include : a high school diploma or its equivalent, good telephone communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of medical procedures, knowledge of clerical functions, current CPR card, current PPD or chest x-ray, and current health certificate. Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required; certification is preferred. Minimum of one year relevant experience is preferred. Relevant certification / license is required if applicable. Must be at least 18 years of age.
