What You'll Do
- Assisting with performing lab testing
- Drafting boring logs and location diagrams
- Scheduling of drill rigs for geotechnical projects
- Obtaining utility clearance for subsurface explorations
- Assisting with the subsurface exploration program and preparing drilling instructions
- Performing boring and test pit layouts by both conventional surveying and Global Positioning Systems (GPS)
- Classifying soil samples
- Performing hand augers to obtain subsurface information and soil samples
- Observing foundation or ground improvement installations

Actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related degreeInterest in how structures are supported and a desire to think outside the boxMust be able to provide suitable transportation for use on job sites - mileage will be reimbursedPosition requires carrying 40 - 70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lifting 85 lbs to waist heightWho We Are
