About the RoleAs our in-house Licensed Architect, you serve as the architectural leader for all design-build projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you are responsible for ensuring all designs are creative, functional, compliant, and—critically—constructed with maximum efficiency and quality. You will strategically balance vision with the essential realities of budget, schedule, and field execution.
What You Will Be DoingI. Visionary Design and Customer EngagementConcept Initiation :Lead initial customer consultations and feasibility studies, translating complex needs and customer goals into actionable architectural concepts.Conceptual Development :Develop and present persuasive conceptual drawings, imagery, and specifications that clearly define the project vision and excite the customer.Compliance and Research :Conduct all necessary research on feasibility, zoning, environmental impacts, and code compliance, ensuring the design is fully permitted and legally sound.II. Integrated Project Delivery & Budget DisciplineIntegrated Project Management :Serve as the architectural lead, coordinating directly with Project Managers to ensure alignment between design, constructability, cost, and project schedule.Budget Discipline & Value Engineering :Actively manage the design within the customer budget. Utilize your construction knowledge to perform real-time Value Engineering, selecting materials and methods that maintain design integrity while optimizing cost and schedule.Documentation and Deliverables :Prepare complete and accurate construction documents, imagery, and specifications necessary for permitting, procurement, and field execution.Construction Support :Maintain design integrity throughout the construction phase by efficiently reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs, ensuring timely and effective responses that prevent field delays.III.
