Overview

As a member of the enterprise marketing team, you will partner with marketers, product specialists and thought leaders to develop an editorial calendar that brings to market the depth and breadth of our intellectual capital, aligned with our business, brand and marketing goals. You will drive strategy and execution across each step of content creation, from ideation to launch. You will influence our voice and points of view, bring rigor in our thinking, partner with design teams on enabling the right content formats (articles, white papers, blogs, infographics, videos, and podcasts), and oversee execution to ensure the content is relevant, differentiated, and high performing.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and tactical execution of a holistic, global content strategy and editorial plan.
  • Work with Marketing leadership and internal Editorial Board to develop content strategy and editorial plan that aligns with company and marketing objectives.
  • Create a connection with the target market through powerful and meaningful content that people want to interact with, provides valuable insights, and encourages action.
  • Partner with campaign leads and the digital team to strategically integrate content into campaigns and initiatives, to provide deeper storytelling and build brand experiences.
  • Act as both thought partner and editor, brainstorming new content ideas, developing strong storylines, producing compelling drafts, and creating publishing strategies.
  • Manage all internal and external content resources, agencies, and freelancers from briefing through final production. Develop a strong pool of go-to writing resources.
  • Leverage SEO, performance data, client feedback, and market trends to improve content quality and outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams, balancing stakeholder needs with creative excellence and innovation.
  • Create a set of Key Performance Indicators to measure content success and engagement.
  • Stay current on solution developments, market trends, and competitors, and have an appreciation of audience engagement practices and digital analytics.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in finance business writing and editing, including digital publishing, preferably for a publication, media company, professional services firm, content agency, or in an editorial role at a brand.
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
  • Excellent writer and editor with top-notch writing and editing skills and a strong portfolio showing multi-channel campaigns and experience across all digital media.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, complex processes, and deadlines.
  • Effective communications and presentation skills across organizational levels.
  • Change management and agility; ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to influence and facilitate cross-functional collaboration and consensus.
  • Client focus with a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Emotional intelligence and teamwork; ability to collaborate across teams and roll up sleeves when needed.
  • Global mindset with experience or comfort working in a global organization and understanding local market nuances.
  • Familiarity with financial markets.
  • Salary range $180,000.00-$195,000.00 USD. Bonus Eligible.
