About The Position
Position Description
New York Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to provide night shift coverage within its Level IV NICU. This is a 13-week assignment beginning February 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension through the end of the year. The provider will be responsible for admissions, delivery room attendance, case management, and assisting physicians with orders and procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work in a leading academic hospital environment alongside a collaborative and experienced clinical team.

Job Requirements
- Requirements
- Education : Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Certification : NCC Certification (required)
- Licensure : Active New York State License (no exceptions)
- Vaccinations : COVID-19 and influenza vaccines required
- Credentialing : 60–90 days (no temporary privileges)
- Experience : Experience managing Level IV NICU patients preferred
- Procedural Competencies :
- Intubations
- Umbilical and PICC line placement
- Arterial sticks and lumbar punctures
- Chest tubes and fluid management
- Exchange transfusions (rare)
- Venipuncture and IV placement (rare)
- Scheduling Details :
- Night Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 8 : 30 AM (1-hour meal deduction)
- No call required
- Telemedicine not applicable
- Epic EMR used
