Staff Accountant Non-Gaming

City : Las Vegas State : NV Shift : Day Type of Shift : Full Time Department : Finance & Accounting

Summary : Responsible for properly performing financial activities related to the Accounting activities of the Finance Department, in accordance with established policies, procedures and controls.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Analyze and review balance sheet accounts to assure accuracy in the GL and ensures that variances are accounted
• Assist outside auditors when necessary
• Prepare adjusted entries for the next month to correct any variances if necessary
• Receive checks and payments for deposit
• Prepare monthly schedules for various balance sheet reconciliations and amortizations
• Complete monthly reconciliation of all asset and liability accounts
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members
• Perform other duties as assigned
