Certifications : BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced preferred), FHMExperience : Minimum 2 years L&D + Postpartum experienceTravel Experience : Seasoned traveler required; strong non-travel experience may be consideredSkills :Labor & delivery management (circulate / recover C-sections, vaginal deliveries, hemorrhage / shock, amnioinfusion, forceps / vacuum, etc.)
Postpartum care (fundus / lochia / perineum care, episiotomy, wound care, hemorrhage, C-section recovery, couplet care)Fetal monitoring (external / internal EFM, IUPC, abnormal pattern recognition)Neonatal care (APGARs, resuscitation, cord sampling, hypoglycemia, newborn assessment, thermoregulation)Medication administration (magnesium sulfate, pitocin, prostaglandins, terbutaline, antihypertensives, insulin drips, blood products)IV therapy & phlebotomy (IVs, infusions, blood draws, central lines)Patient ratio : Must be comfortable with 1 : 3 ratioPreferred
