Job descriptionDiagnose and Repair : Identify and fix issues with home appliances and equipment. Provide Estimates : Offer accurate cost estimates for repairs. Customer Communication : Clearly explain the services needed to customers. Manage Parts : Order parts and ensure efficient use of company materials. Collect Payments : Handle payment collection for completed work. Exceptional Customer Service : You are the face of the company, delivering a great customer experience with empathy and professionalism. Problem Solving : Transition smoothly from diagnosis to solution, helping customers understand what needs to be done to resolve their issues quickly. Quality of Work : Use critical thinking skills to ensure the job is done right the first time, leading to customer satisfaction. Efficiency : Be efficient with your time and repair speed to meet all customer needs for the day. Punctuality and Reliability : Be available and on time, as customers eagerly await your help. Attention to Detail : Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and ensure accurate completion of customer information and reports. Ongoing Learning : Stay updated on new appliances and features, taking advantage of training opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills. Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Licensing : Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Experience : Previous experience of one year or more in appliance repair is a plus! Compensation : $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, based on experience, plus bonuses and commissions. Work-Life Balance : No nights or weekends, ensuring a solid work-life balance. Paid Training : Access to Mr. Appliance Academy to advance from Apprentice to Master Technician. Incentives : Generous bonuses and incentive pay for hard work. Perks : Company vehicle and iPad provided. Health Benefits : Health, Dental, and Vision benefits after 90 days of full-time employment. Paid Time Off : 10 days of PTO per year.
