Cerner charting system experience

Previous charge experience preferred

Travel experience required

Description :

High risk Level III NICU environment.

Candidates must hold current BLS, NRP, PALS, and STABLE certifications.

Experience with neonates, specifically those 29-34 weeks and above, is required.

Skills in administration of blood and blood products and anti-seizure medications are essential.

Familiarity with high flow nasal cannula and ventilator management is required.

Experience in assisting with lumbar puncture procedures and managing arterial lines is preferred.

Knowledge of neonatal sepsis workup and therapeutic hypothermia is important.

Ability to demonstrate appropriate patient / family teaching and developmental care.

Proficiency in managing and placing oral / nasogastric / nasojejunal tubes is necessary.

Candidates should be familiar with handling breast milk and breastfeeding support.

Experience with phototherapy and blood glucose monitoring is essential.

Skills in administering IV vasopressors and managing chest tubes are required.

Candidates must exhibit excellent teamwork skills and be able to work effectively with interdisciplinary support.
