Responsibilities Getting the right products at the right price in the right store at the right time is no small task. As a Business Planner II, you'll partner with internal Partners to develop and execute financial and item plans that support department financial objectives and merchandise / inventory strategies. What is your background? - A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience - 5+ years of related experience in inventory management, supply chain, retail business planning, or financial analysis - Experience managing large-scale projects - Experience working cross functionally across multiple Partners and stakeholders to influence decision making - Experience applying accounting / finance principles to developing complex costing and forecasting models
Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B GM Business Planner II? - Comprehensive knowledge of planning / replenishment systems, and store / space planning - Working knowledge of retail accounting and finance principles - Understanding of retail math - Advanced analytical skills - Advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, x-, v-, and h-lookups, conditional formatting) - Strong interpersonal skills - Strong verbal / written communication and listening skills - Strong organization and time management skills - Ability to work at all levels; ability to communicate persuasively and influentially cross-functionally - Ability to work under pressure with flexibility, adaptability; attention to detail - Ability to excel in a team environment - Ability to work with little supervision; self-motivation - Strong sense of urgency - Strong aptitude with numbers
